My approach is built on what Nutritional Therapy calls "The Foundations of Health." These are the cornerstones of wellness that, when properly supported, allow health to flow naturally. They include:

My Path to Integrative & Nutritional Therapy

MANY years ago I heard one of my favorite motivational speakers make this statement:  ‘If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change’ (Wayne Dyer).  This statement has completely revolutionized the way I live my life and has been my catalyst in fulfilling a lifelong dream to heal others and help them fulfill optimum health.  I have since been dedicated to helping people reach their personal health and fitness goals through a personalized and safe program founded on the principles of gratitude, self motivation, real science, real food, sustainable nutrition, support, fun and learning! Of course I had to also learn how to walk the walk, not only talk the talk, and

my personal change wasn't overnight, but it was profound. As I learned to tune into my body's needs and respond with targeted nutrition and lifestyle changes, I discovered a level of health and vitality I hadn't thought possible that I carry well into my 50's.

This personal transformation ignited a passion to help others navigate their own health puzzles. It led me to the Nutritional Therapy Association (https://www.nutritionaltherapy.com/), where I honed the skills to translate nutritional science into practical, personalized strategies for my clients. It led me to Health Coaching (via https://www.integrativenutrition.com), where I help people integrate healthy habits into into their lives one day at a time. It led me to USUI Reiki, where I help people remove unwanted emotional blocks or traumas from their minds and bodies. And It led me to Personal Training (via https://go.issaonline.com/ga/certified-personal-trainer/, where I can help people understand how movement and functionality assisted by good food can 'biohack' you straight into a long, high quality life.

As your practitioner, I bring more than just knowledge to our sessions – I bring understanding, empathy, and a commitment to your unique health journey. My approach is built on gratitude and will be:

Beyond My Practice

When I'm not working with clients, you might find me foraging for fresh vegetables at the local farmer's markets, experimenting with fermentation in my kitchen, baking my weekly sourdough loaf of bread, or leading community workshops on intuitive eating. I'm also a passionately active person, so there is a good chance you will find me taking long walks with my soul-mate dog Paco, playing beach volleyball, pickle-ball or kayaking the beautiful waters of St. Pete with super awesome people. Being outside also brings the photographer out in me, and between my travels or just watching birds, I find myself cultivating the art of photography as a stimulating hobby (follow me here: https://www.instagram.com/pix8_photography). And when not outside, I will probably be at the gym lifting some heavy weights or dancing by myself while playing music because I recently finished a DJ course (follow me here: https://soundcloud.com/faces018)!
